To provide the candidates with the confidence and skills necessary to give Paediatric First Aid to the children in their care, until professional help arrives. At the end of the course, practical skills in Resuscitation, Management of an Unconscious Casualty and Management of Severe Bleeding will be assessed by the First Aid trainer.
