About this course
This is a half day course.
Evacuation chairs are widely used in buildings / multi-storey building as a means of escape for people who have difficulty in using stairs in the event of fire. It is essential that people are trained in the safe use of any device if injuries and accidents are to be avoided.
This course will help you understand how to identify and use an assisted escape device and how to avoid any use that may lead to further risk. It will demonstrate the part that these devices can play in an overall strategy for means of escape for people with mobility issues during an evacuation, the training required to ensure that procedures are adhered to in practice using the correct method.
This course is delivered at your own site (where an evacuation chair will be used).
This is for staff who needs to know how to use an emergency evacuation chair or rescue slide where this course will instruct & help you understand how to identify and use an assisted escape device and how to avoid any use that may lead to any further risk.
This is a half day course held at your venue - as little as 30 pounds per person for a group of 12 persons
