Who Should take this course

This course is suitable for people working in any profession who wish to improve their communication skills, confidence and understanding of the way people behave. This course is set out as an introduction to NLP and so is suitable for people of all abilities and at all levels of employment.

The course is divided into five accessible, interactive modules and includes an assessment at the end:

  • Introduction to NLP – the foundations of NLP, NLP modelling, getting started, association and dissociation, managing your state of mind and noticing detail.
  • The NLP Presuppositions – the presuppositions in practice.
  • The History of NLP – the early years and NLP today.
  • NLP, Motivation and Communication – the NLP communication model, communication filters, deletion, distortion and generalisation and metaprograms.
  • Values, Beliefs and Building Rapport – values and motivation, beliefs, attitude, memories and decisions, building rapport and the pillars of NLP.


The online assessment is taken on completion of the training material. You will be asked 10 multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 70%. The answers are marked automatically so you will instantly know whether you have passed. If you don't pass don't worry! You can take the test as many times as you need with no extra charge.


It takes approximately 3-4 hours to complete the course in full. This can be spread out over multiple sessions or completed in a single session. There is no time limit for completion.
