Who Should take this course
This Level 2 Health and Safety Induction training is suitable for employees at all levels who are required to understand health and safety law, hazards and control measures as part of their work.
Under health and safety law, employers are obliged to provide all employees with adequate training in health and safety. This Level 2 Health and Safety Induction course allows you to comply with these regulations by providing learners with a sufficient level of knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
On successful completion of the course a high quality, personalised certificate will be posted to you the next working day. This can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.

The course is divided into four accessible, interactive modules and also includes an assessment at the end:
- The Safety Management System - legal responsibilities, law enforcement and policy, employer duties, employee duties, monitoring and evaluation.
- Accident Prevention - risk assessments, accident prevention, first aid, welfare and fire.
- Health and Safety in the Workplace 1 - slips, trips and falls, manual handling, display screen equipment (DSE), safety signs and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Health and Safety in the Workplace 2 - electrical safety, working at height, noise awareness, COSHH and vehicles.
The online assessment is taken on completion of the training material. You will be asked 25 multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 70%. The answers are marked automatically so that you’ll instantly know whether you passed. If you don't pass don't worry! You can take the test as many times as you need with no extra charge.
Approximately 2 hours to complete the course in full. This can be spread out over multiple sessions or completed in a single session. There is no time limit for completion.
