17th International Conference,
Sunday 17th April – Thursday 21st April 2016
Yarnfield Park Training & Conference Centre Stone, Staffordshire ST15 0NL
Whether you have been one of our previous supporters, or Trauma Care is new to you, I would like to invite you, as a member of the trauma community to consider joining us for our 2016 Conference to be held at Yarnfield Park near Stafford from Sunday 17th April 2016 to Thursday 21st April 2016. Trauma Care is a multidisciplinary organisation and a registered charity devoted to improving the care of the injured across the UK. Truly multidisciplinary, our members include doctors, paramedics, nurses, and the complete range of therapists involved in returning patients to normal (or near normal) life. We also attract managers and those responsible for clinical and operational policy across the new trauma networks,
Our conference, now in its twentieth year, has grown each year and now takes place over five themed days, each with several educational streams and with every day focussing on one particular professional group or discipline as part of a broader daily programme. The majority of delegates select a number of days to attend and we can therefore guarantee new delegates throughout the week.
Last year, in excess of 800 people attended some or all of our conference.
Over the years, we have built up a loyal band of commercial supporters who find that our conference offers them unparalleled exposure to potential customers. In return, we at Trauma Care recognise how much we depend on this commercial support and strive to make the exhibitor experience a valuable one.
Having outgrown our previous location, this year the conference takes place at a new larger venue allowing us to accommodate more exhibitors. In recognition of this we have chosen to significantly reduce our previous exhibitor fees, for example from £2995 to £1875 for five days and from £795 to £750 for a single day. Rates for other numbers of days have been similarly cut.
The numbers of stands each day are limited therefore stands/space will be allocated on first come, first served basis. The cost includes a table and two chairs, 13 amp power, food and refreshments for your staff during the conference.
I appreciate the client audience may not be your potential customers throughout the week. An attempt has been made to link the programme such that specific specialties/practitioners will be attracted to 2 or 3 days of the programme. As such corporate support may be for single days, a combination of days or the whole conference.
If you would like to join us at Trauma Care 2016, please do not hesitate to contact the Trauma Care office where our administrator’s Kim & Yvonne will be very pleased to assist in any way they can.
I very much hope to see you next year, and I am most grateful in advance for your consideration.
Professor Sir Keith Porter
Chair – Trauma Care
