About this Speaker
Dr Marco Mion
Dr. Marco Mion is a Principal Clinical Psychologist specializing in Out-of-Hospital cardiac arrest research at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust (2017-present) and in neuropsychology at King's College Hospital, London (2023-present) . He is also an Honorary Visiting Clinical Senior Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University. His research primarily focuses on cognitive outcomes and psychosocial aspects of cardiac arrest survivorship, working with international research groups.
His work spans interdisciplinary fields, including cardiology, neuropsychology and rehabilitation. Dr Mion has contributed to the BCIS consensus statement on post-discharge rehabilitation for OHCA survivors, to the Resuscitation Council UK Survivors Quality Standards, and he collaborates with Fondazione IRC in Italy for the promotion of a survivors-focused programme of care and rehabilitation following cardiac arrest.
