Oliver worked for the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) between 2010 and 2014. The GPhC is the statutory regulator for pharmacy professionals in the UK; Oliver worked in their Investigations Team, investigating pharmacy professionals’ fitness to practise. Since 2014, Oliver has been a Managing Director of FTP Support (formerly Oliver Mundy Associates). Having witnessed first-hand the stress and confusion suffered by pharmacy professionals whose fitness to practise was under investigation, he now works to provide empathetic support to those healthcare professionals who need it.
FTP Support provides all registered healthcare professionals, not just pharmacists, with fitness to practise advice and representation. Using expert consultants with extensive experience of working for healthcare regulators in investigative and decision-making roles, FTP Support works with healthcare professionals, helping them to safeguard their registration and to ensure they understand the confusing and complex fitness to practise process.
FTP Support’s creative and innovative team provides fitness to practise solutions to organisations, as well as to individual healthcare professionals. This work includes training, improving individuals’ understanding of what steps should be taken by healthcare professionals to ensure their fitness to practise is not called into question.
